What's actually in this estimate
The calculator runs the same per-sq-ft math Scott uses on the first walkthrough. It's a real range — not a teaser. If the email-quote arrives and you don't recognize half the line items, that's a sign your other quote is missing things.
- Turf cost scales with sq ft and stimp target. Tour-spec rolls cost 1.5× standard.
- Base + drainage is the biggest single variable in Florida. Cheap base = green that ponds after the first August storm.
- Labor stays roughly $35–45/sq ft installed once you account for digging, base prep, contouring, and finish.
- Cups, flags, and accents are per-unit. Brass cups = lifetime. Aluminum = good for 5–7 years.
Numbers exclude pavers, retaining walls, lighting, or planting around the green. Those are quoted separately. Scott can do them all, just so you know.
